Download linux version of sify dialer from

http://210.18.11.199:81/bbandclient/sifyconnect-1.3-bin.tar.gz
OR
http://210.210.4.74:81/bbandclient/sifyconnect-1.3-bin.tar.gz

save it and extract. go to Applications->Accessories->Terminal

change the directory to where you extracted .tar.gz file. ( cd Desktop/sify_bbclient-3.0/ )

now type sudo sh install.sh

you will get a message sifybb successfully installed.

now type in terminal sudo sifyconnect

Here some troubleshooting required if you get following error messages.

1. sifyconnect: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Solution: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so /usr/lib/libssl.so.4

2. sifyconnect: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Solution: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libcrypto.so /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.4

Now type in terminal: sudo sifyconnect
asks for password enter password. a nice GUI will appear asking sifyBB login information. enter user ID and password click login that’s it.
